Decided to stop by since I was driving by. Did not disappoint! $20 for two heavy plates of food, white rice, and soup. (White rice and soup were like 20-40 cents). Fried rice and noodles were ok, but other items were YUM YUM YUM. A fish item I got was extremely flavorful, the curry chicken had me wanting more curry, king pao was good, and some fried pieces of chicken were on point. Glad I decided to give it another try after so many years. Lots of clients going in--wish they had broccoli beef and orange chicken but I picked random items and was surprised I liked all of them.

Rolling Wok is a perennial favorite for anyone on "survival mode" and who isn't these days. How can you beat a three-entree combo for less than $9. The food is prepared daily and is varied and street-food or hawker food court tasty. No ambience to speak of. Must be very popular even for drivers of Teslas and occasional Mercedes sports cars and Bimmers. Cash only. Their braised whole tilapia fish with black bean sauce and seafood noodle soup with shrimp are worth the drive for $10.

Food: great variety, great tasting, great value, great portion size (CASH ONLY) Service: you pick and they pile Design: standard old school "whole-in-the-wall" style charm Overall: the best value for food in SGV; not many places left where you can get a lunch/dinner between $5-10; Ice Milk Tea=$1.18; Rice=$0.30; Soup=$0.20 (CASH ONLY)

I already knew what I was expecting before entering this cafe. This is not your dine in with friends place. Rather, a place to get a quick and cheap bite, if you want to have more authentic taste of Asian food. Don't expect any nice decor nor seatings. Just enjoy the cheap food and get out. Overall, it's a 3.6 out of 5. But for the price and convenience. Will return again

I absolutely love getting takeout from Rolling Wok for their delicious and affordable Chinese food! The variety of choices they offer is impressive, making every visit a delightful culinary adventure. Whether it's the perfectly cooked entrees or the mouthwatering flavors, Rolling Wok never disappoints. It has become our go-to spot for satisfying our Chinese food cravings. Highly recommended!

So this place should probably be a 4 star cause the service and cleanliness and ambiance are all a little suss and all their selection tastes good or decent or likeable but not amazing, but I love going here every time I'm in Rowland heights. For $10 you can get a meal big enough for two (cash only) and that is honestly amazing in these inflationary times. So it's not like Hong Kong express: the chow mein/fried rice is not part of the dish, it's an entree choice. 1 entree is $5, 2 is $7 and 3 is $9. Add rice and soup for 50 cents. The milk tea is a $1 and it's too sweet so I normally pass on getting it... except when it's heat wave triple-digit temp season like it was yesterday. My favorite item is the ginger scallion fish, which is a special entree costing $9 by itself. When I ask for extra sauce in a side cup, they'll usually quote me anywhere from 10 cents to 25 cents. Personally, I like the chow mein better than fried rice. What I witness the locals doing is skipping chow mein/fried rice entirely and getting just protein or veggie entrees and then the white rice/soup.

My family and I like to some times run our take outs from 'Rolling Wok,' in Rowland Heights. But you need to go like around earlier dinner hours for the freshest dishes. I like their fried rice and chow Mein quite a bit: their salmon pieces also turned out super fresh whenever we would order salmon. I also like their Soft Tofu dishes. Come earlier instead of later to ensure the best quality of their dinner dishes.

Update: price increased as of July 1, 2022 1 entree: 4.88 2 entree: 6.88 3 entree: 8.08 Milk tea: 0.98 Soda: 1.50
